Nazz is the self-titled debut album by psychedelic rock group Nazz. It was released in 1968. The track "Open My Eyes" was accompanied by a promo video, directed by Ray Dennis Steckler. The album also featured the original version of what would become guitarist Todd Rundgren's signature song, "Hello It's Me", when Rundgren re-recorded it several years later as a solo single for his double album Something/Anything?.
A trippy version of a classic album. This 1969 Japanese pressing is on very quiet vinyl-there is deep silence between the tracks-but the mastering is unpleasantly bright and lacking bass. By comparison, the . black vinyl has solid bass and overall excellent EQ balance, and to my ears it sounds better than both the Japanese and .
