Scoreboard Bleeding
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CD PRESSING! I cannot stress this enough!I bought this, Rocka Rolla, and Hero,Hero in the triple pack, and I don't own any of those CDs anymore, they just sounded awful. Allow me to explain:The Koch CD is clearly mastered off of a high generation clone tape, probably for a US vinyl release, possibly the same as the old Attic CD, but possibly some other duplicate. If you don't see how that would be too bad, then I can explain pretty easily. Essentially, this CD sounds like garbage. It's not COMPLETELY destroyed, someone with utterly untrained ears or very low end equipment might not notice the problems as much, but they are still big ugly problems. This CD has so much nasty flabby overboosted bass extending up into the midbass range from down to the sub range. It sounds like someone used a Sony Walkman with the "MegaBASS" switch on to transfer the tape. There's noticeable distortion on the midrange, and treble is inarticulate. The stereo image is also pretty squashed. Heavy EQ might help some, but it won't make this much punchier or cleaner sounding.Get the RCA CD instead. Or any other pre 2000s CD version frankly.
