Seriously, along with some DJ Hype and Omni Trio, Snapper is amongst the absolute high points of the genre, it really doesn't get better than this.I don't know what Mr_Geese usualy fancies, but I guess we wouldn't cross path on dancefloors given his statement ;)
Guinness punch is pretty groovy although the amens sound a little muddy. Snapper is the one really. Intro sounds like an alternate version of dub plate style then drops into a very punchy amen and sub combo, a good tune for cutting and mixing with.
Guinness Punch is a seriously good tune mainly for its simplicity and restraint in arrangement and of course that powerful rollin bass - careful your speakers...BUT...Don't pay stupid money for it (I would humbly ask you to ignore Billcorey's statement of buy at any price, that should never be the case for any piece of plastic) - you can get it on the flip side of High Chaparral RZ001
I can see why snapper never got a full release, to me the tune sounds unfinished it's completely missing any character, much better caine tunes out there, one of if not the worst tune he put out
MCain is a bit like the reese of DnB , massive balls vibes on all his tunes, this one is groovy as hell like his others.Massive bass on Guinness and quite trippy but snapper is total stormer, huge compressed rollin breaks. If you can find a copy buy immediately regardless of price!
